What is a cookie?
A cookie is a very small text file that is placed on your computer's hard drive when accessing a website. It is an identification card, which is uniquely yours and can only be read by the server that gave it to you.
It cannot be used to deliver computer viruses.
Why do we use cookies?
The cookie is required to authenticate you as a registered user and so enable you to log in and navigate the site.
